We're back in Philly! The trip has come to an end and we are just so grateful to everyone who hosted us, to all we saw, met, encountered along the way. Now comes the difficult process of coming back into our communal life, trying to share what we've learned and hold on to what we found that was sacred. We learned a lot about each other, our marriage, community, love, hosting and being a guest. Scroll down to see where we thought we'd go and how we thought we'd make it. We had to change plans plenty of times. Some times it was because the camper couldn't make it through the road or through the weather. Sometimes it was due to people ot being home, or wanting us to come for a specific day/event. Towards the end, we were afraid of running out of time, so we had to make some cutbacks in our schedule. We're calling this a "general route" because we don't want to tie ourselves into anything. There are many varibles when traveling, and more when traveling in a 19 year old motor home. Mostly, we are excited about this opportunity to be together, create relationships, reconnect and strengthen relationships that we and the community's made and receive hospitality.
