Sun, March 21 4 - 8 PM
Riverside Church, 490 Riverside Drive, New York, NY
The Public Hearing on Sunday, March 21st will bring together leaders from academic, faith, veterans, and advocacy communities—along with the general public—to receive testimony from those affected by the moral dilemmas of war. Together, we will hear from recent veterans, military chaplains, religious leaders, and legal experts about issues of conscience, just war, military service, and the rights and regulations governing Conscientious Objection.
The mission of the Truth Commission on Conscience in War is to “honor and protect freedom of conscience for our nation’s service members.”
